Grifters want you to pay attention to them, not reality. Otherwise, how are they going the bully, scare, and/or lie to use you to like their pockets?

Also so many of them claim to be Christian but a significant repeated message of the Bible is to treat strangers in your land well.
If you don’t, you get plagues. You get swallowed in the parted Red Sea. Etc.
And when Jesus says to love your neighbor as yourself, there’s no “unless they’re immigrants who speak a different language” or “they’re inconvenient” or “they’re different from you” exception.
