I visited the pyramids at Giza a few years ago and was surprised to see quite a few ‘street dogs’ just climbing up the pyramids and finding spots to chill out.

Is Egypt worth visiting ? I’ve read sooo many mixed reviews about Egypt that the pyramids are over rated, you don’t even get to see inside properly etc! But I’m very interested in visiting! So just wanted any opinion lol

The dedication to disturb the peace of those birds are admirable honestly.
I am an Egyptian, I live in Giza. In the good old days, it was possible to climb the pyramids without any problems, and all tourists who climbed there considered it their duty to write down their name or the name of their girlfriend and the date of their feat there. There was also one case when a teenager, having climbed a pyramid and being afraid of heights, could not go down, and the government sent a helicopter to take him down from there. Then the guards appeared, and they were forbidden to go up. But the particularly stubborn ones continued to climb up under the cover of night.
