Well for one thing the photo on the right is not from the late 60s. It’s a more modern photo of women dressed in the style of that time… Also not all young women embraced the “hippie” aesthetic in the late 60s.

I have seen this passed around a lot, with an uncropped version on the right. The right image looks 2010s.
