Oedipus himself didn’t know that he was from Thebes, the whole reason he left Corinth was because he thought its king and queen were his biological instead of adoptive parents, in order to avoid fulfilling the prophecy. Neither would Jocasta would have known about the fate of her abandoned son. Your suggestion through the title is useless.

One wonders how much older Jocasta was than Oedipus. Probably not more than twenty years, hopefully more than 12.
