    1. Old man strength hits different—like discovering your granddad’s mixtape in a time capsule.

    2. 45 and in jail? That man’s fuck it furnace is burning too hot to be touched. These young folks don’t understand that life can be lifing so hard at that age that death is just a nap that can’t be interrupted. Combine that with all the folks you want to punch but can’t !?!?! Now you’re getting super sayan slumped by someone with a salt and pepper beard. Let’s just say he’s got people he cares for …now deep in the tussle he goes extra hard because he gotta be around for those bad ass kids and his elderly mom. In summary a man in his forties contains an un holy trinity of fight fuel : misery, rage and responsibility. If opting out is an option, TAKE it😂

I’m almost 40 and I can see the change happening in my attitude, I think that’s the difference. When I was 20, a fight was just a fight, not a big deal you move on. Now, a fight could literally fuck up my life so you better believe I’m not playing around. I would also avoid a fight whenever possible so if it comes down to that, it’s not gonna be a fun time.

A 45 year old in jail means they make irrational decisions and move off violence. 20s and dumb like that? Sure? 40s and in jail? They fight recreationally.

Get in some shots but the old man still on this

The issue is 45 and in jail as opposed to just 45 on the street. People aren’t usually in for their first offense at 45 so either he’s in and out regularly or he’s been in for a long time. Do not cross that man

    8. I just turned 45, and I get told I’m goals by the teenagers that go to my gym. I guess there is some truth to this.

    9. “Cuz why is you Trying To kill me🫥Tf”

Old man strength is situationally dependent and determined.

Seen a 67 year old wash a 24 year old.

Prolly shoulda figured out why his 45 y/o ass in there in the first place. That could be a different type of “Fuck It🤷🏾‍♂️” frfr, how far can he fall from where he at right now, how many L’s he already took in life to have his old ass having to fight w u, and how much time he got left(in the cell and on earth); vs how long ur young ass is in there for and if u really ready to die behind it. Do ur maths for situations like that, do your googles 😂

I don’t think age has anything to do with it–it’s more about how you are built and overall health. If that Tyson vs Paul fight takes place we can find out.

    11. Im 48 working in a warehouse. And some of the younger guys look at me like ( Why the F is this older guy so strong ). I guess its from being from a different generation.

    12. It’s actually the result of the muscle development changing. Basically there’s two types, one for strength, and one for speed/agility. As you get older you start to lose the development of the second, resulting in being slower, but gain more strength to compensate.

    13. Because 45 is around that age where a punch in the wrong place can end up with him dead. Shit the same goes for anyone really. Like if I’m absolutely forced to fight for any reason I’d probably try to end it as quickly as possible too lol.

I’m almost 40 rn & my upper body strength is way greater now than it ever was in my teens or 20s

I would not have provoked my grandfather on his deathbed, he was 250 lbs of mean, experienced muscle.

Lifetime of manual labor. Even skinny little nerds have probably done some work around the house, garden, landscape. Built some shit broke some shit. This dude talking about jail, well shit that’s not some skinny little nerd. Life of labor and or crime (I’m assuming 45 yo inmate isn’t in for insider trading and ponzi schemes, but maybe). Yeah I surprised myself with my burgeoning OMS and I’m only 42. When I’m 60 I’ll be able to lift a car. I’ll be in bed for a week after, but the point is, I did it.

I wrestled in high school, and our school was too good for the city leagues so we got sent out to visit the farm boys.

That grown man in a child’s body got his first grip on my arm, and I knew it was going to be an ass kicking.

I had never been outright suplexed before that day, and I haven’t since.

There’s a different kind of strength that you get from years of consistent manual labor. A man that’s still incarcerated in his 40s will absolutely have that strength.

    18. Nigga ain’t never lifted no weight but think he finna fight a 45 year old man in jail lmfao

    19. Inevitable_Shift1365 on

Also a lot of old man strength in a fight comes down to experience. Knowing where to hit. Knowing how to use physics to maximize the impact of your blows. Having been hit so many times that it doesn’t phase you or break your concentration.
