      tbf in each scenario a different crowd is acting that way, it’s not like most people simultaneously believe the first one is too unrealistic yet the second one is not feminine enough

      It’s fairly simple.

      On the one hand, you have a group of people that don’t play video games but get upset if the female characters in a video game are attractive. They won’t buy your game but they’ll attack you for the main character not looking like Lizzo.

      On the other hand, you have the people that actually play video games and get upset when classic character designs are changed to appease the first group and when in game models are uglified compared to their voice actresses.

    3. She’s an explorer who does climbing, hiking, and doing all kinds of strenuous activities, it make sense that she looks that way. At least to me, lol.

    4. Gentleman: the one on the left is shin jae eun, top right is the girl from stellar blade and the one on the bottom left is lara croft

    5. We could almost say that women can’t catch a break in general.

      * too sexy
      * too strong
      * too fat
      * too ugly
      * nobody can be that beautiful
      * too much clothes
      * she is naked

      And the list goes on and on…

      The one who complained about upper one is a bunches of cringe activists with killjoy attitude.

      The one who complained about lower one is a bunches of incel coomers with no life.

      Different group, same in pathetic-ness

      Anti woke people are scare of strong build woman. Completely forgetting that Korra has a similar body.

    8. people who overly care about the appearance of female characters in video games are just culture war losers who are always either just angry to be angry or mad they don’t have a new character to jack off to. These people are best ignored as they are just a very vocal minority of weirdos.

    9. Lara Croft looks fine to me. She got some muscular features and some morons think she’s trans? She’s always climbing mountains and hiking and fighting people. Of course all the physical exercise is gonna make you beefy after a while.

    10. Meanwhile, me playing assassin creed black flag (Im having a good time *ARR, There will be treasure !*)

    11. The funniest things is that Lara has always been a fit lady, that design is literally on point lmao

      How is the first one a video game?

      I honestly don’t get the hate for Laura Croft. She looks reasonable and I definitely don’t get the man aspect of it

    14. holy shit I hate this narrative. the woman on top can break my pelvis in half. the woman on the bottom can shatter it.

    15. I personally prefer games where I create a character, but in these cases, is it really that deep? Of you’re playing for story then how your character looks isn’t the most important. It is an element, it’s just not the whole game. Just like when movies or shows have actors we don’t like or find unappealing or unfit for their role, you either consume it or you don’t. Speak with your wallet.

    16. Lara actually looks good, imo. I did see a shot earlier where she looked almost flat, but now I see that she really just went down a cup size or two. And I’m fine with that

      These women are fine. But I want more Mei like women as my type is barely represented in games.

    18. Wait do people actually complained about this Lara Croft ? She just looks completely normal for an adventurer

      this seems like two different kinds of people, cuz at the same time of seeing porn addicts drool or those stupid hentai characters theres other porn addicts drooling over lesbian porn characters. as someone I personally know often says, “its two sides of the same stupid.”

    20. I have never ever seen or read someone call stellar blade protagonist’s body unrealistic and I lurk the gamingcirclejerk sub, some have called her porn star or sex doll body but never unrealistic.

      The model for stellar blade was still modified tho.

      Coincidentally today I was unlucky and saw an asmongold sub post about the voice actress for Lara Croft having huge boobs and how it’s a clown world because Lara doesn’t have double D’s like the voice actress.

      I guess we need to make Kratos black.

    21. The people who claim Lara Croft is a man praise Eve from Stellar Blade, they also claim Aphrodite from Hades 2 is a man.

    22. Do people really call the Stellar Blade character unrealistic? I mean, sure, she’s hot, but she looks like she has c cups (so average), a normal hip to waist ratio, and her ass is exaggerated because of her posture. If I take a 10min walk around the campus I’ll see at least 15 women who look similar to her.

      Even if they gave her F cups she’s still be realistic, just needle-in-the-haystack.

    23. Lol I like that both sides of losers will be tilted by this. If you are one of the tiny number of people on either side of this nonsense you need to take a good hard look at yourself.

      To be fair, the outrage that I saw is more that it seems to be that a lot of the plot is about Lara and her ex girlfriends break up (she is lesbian now I guess) and some guy from the games who used to be a womanizer is now a cliche over the top gay guy.

      While I don’t care about that shit its not exactly what you picture a tomb raider series to focus on.

      Kids are afraid of women, some people know that and make cults out of themselves, taking their money in exchange of agreeing with everything they believe, louder.

    26. AbellonaTheWrathful on

      I like a buff Lara, just make her story good for once

      Tomb raider peaked at underworld

    27. Third option of a chubby girl with people screaming, “She’s fat and ugly! Blah blah, woke!”
