      I want to carve out a house in one of these and live in it like some sort of fae creature

    2. If you’ve never been, you need to go. Every time you see what you think is the biggest tree ever you find a bigger one. It’s one of those things that pictures will never even approximate.

      Largest by size/ girth but not height. The coastal redwoods, sequoia sempervirens, are the tallest.

      No one should go. Tourists, especially Chinese and Bakersfield tourists, are ruining the NPS.

      I’ve seen so much local white trash day drinking in the park and foreign tourists parking cars in the road.
