My great-grandmother holding my grandma, 1912, my great-grandfather in uniform, 1917/18, and a postcard he sent home while in France

G-grandpa was called "Buh" by his grandkids, g-grandma died before my mom and her sibs were born. He had a medical practice in New England, and was a surgeon in a field hospital during WW1. Never talked about his experiences there, for obvious reasons.
