I’m from PA (right along the Maryland border) grew up going to Baltimore all the time and eating crabs since I was a baby. Last year was with my in-laws at the Jersey Shore and they got crabs and said they were “old bay steamed”… let me fucking tell you it was some knock off “seafood seasoning” not Old Bay… they loved them and I could barely do 1 haha… I’m the kinda guy to lick the caked on Old Bay off my crabs, and one lick of that got me feeling sick, a hill I will always die on is Old Bay is the pinnacle of seafood seasoning!
