Hopefully he’ll never get the chance. Take the House and then he joins the minority party since there will be a new house in January 25. Unless of course they fight that too.

The 2 party system is one of the main problems with US Politics. Basically a third party or write in vote only supports the candidate you hate the most as others have 0% chance of winning and remove a vote for the candidate who you dislike the least.
Money in Politics, the Electoral college, and voter apathy combine to skew the results.
For those in a deeply entrenched non battle ground state, how do you know your vote doesnt count?
Using a made up example, if 60% of a state votes and it come in 35% vs 25% (of eligible voters) then if the non voters who dont vote because they think their vote doesnt count then it never will count.
If the remaining 40% voted it could add 10% and 30% changing the state to 45 – 55
