      Not sure if two of my dogs would be considered dwarfs. They were both the runts of their litters and only weigh about 12 lbs each. All of their siblings are 20-25 lbs.

    2. Bassett hounds are acondoplasic dwarfs. The generic trait was bread to creat a short statured hound for small game hunting in underbrush.

      Guys, let’s not start thinking this is cute, because that’s how you get irresponsible breeders who’ll then breed for it selectively.

      I get it, they’re small still. But really look at them! They don’t look proportional. I imagine this comes with a host of health problems. I don’t think they do look very cute tbh. Poor little guys!
