Background : Feel like this doesn’t need any more context but still gonna give some.Over the last two centuries the Jewish people have endured discrimination, diaspora and even a few attempts at genociding them.The romans banished them from Israel, the medieval Europeans put them in ghettos and blamed them for plagues and such.Russian tsars did their best to make their lives hell and their Arab neighbours tried to wipe them off the map but they‘re still here to tell the tale fortunately.Hope this doesn‘t come about as propaganda but just the product of me reading a book about Roman history recently.

That’s pretty nonsensical. The only one that attempted to “wipe Israel off the map” was Roman Empire and I am fairly confident they have succeeded.
If we are talking about Jews as a whole, then except for Third Reich no one actually attempted to eliminate Jews. Having said that, the Third Reich has gotten pretty damn close to success in that area.
