It’s like they’re asking for the impossible. Maybe they should try playing a board game for a change.

We actually want a game that is not totally overprieced , that runs like trash on release and is totally filled with the same type of fetch quests just so you can say “we have content”

My roommate refuses to play the ‘fun’ games with me, sticking exclusively to the photorealistic AAA stuff. Always pre-orders the new COD, constantly on the newest EA sports game, etc.

Yes sir, just $69 for a shitty content while you can buy 10 better indie games.

All we want is games that not overpriced, and not unfinished.
For some of the companies content equal unfinished game that split into some multiple DLC packs with prices reaching the full game price or live service where you spent more money.

In fairness, I talked to an Ubi dev once and he told me that better graphics made more sales than better content… We both agreed we’d prefer better content, but as it turns out, we’re a minority. On the same kind of stuff, most players play in easy mode, despite games being easier than before overall.

Bullshit take. All of this companies provide content. That’s their problem, they’re like streaming services regurgitating clonic shows. See Warzone or AC: Valhalla

Besides maybe EA, Ubisoft and activision games don’t have the best graphics.

Not really more content, but right type of it, I personaly don’t like adding on game lenght by adding thousands meaningless collectibles or fetch quests, but again this really differ from game genres, you kinda expect it from games like stardew valley or slime rancher but it’s really annoing in RPG, were the main focus is the story and these are litteraly story absent, and to be honest too much can be a bit overwelming like minecraft these days, back in the day options were limited and I prefered it over having to pick over 800 blocks to build with, many having nearly the same functionality, and to have extended acces to them require even more hours in order to confortably build with those.

Not even more content. I don’t need thousands soulless worlds or some map as big as my own continent. I need good stuff! And good graphics are the by far at the bottom of that list, with a bunch of blank lines coming first

Fug more content. I want a decent playable, mostly bugfree, game what doesn’t consume my whole 1 TB SSD and cost me a fortune…. That would be nice.

We want them to become privately owned, so they’re not stuck with owners, who’s so profit and EBITDA-brained, that they forget to invest in development of a product the end-customer likes.
Stop with the shitty skins. Stop with shitty microtransactions. Stop with the dogshit pandering. Give me story and content with characters that are likable by a big audience.

Not “more” content. Better content. Better stories, better gameplay, and better worlds. Better character designs.

More content? Have you played any Ubisoft games recently? They are filled with so much stuff that is boring and unnecessary. Better quality and in some cases less content would be great.

I’ve started developing games that will be quintessence of content>>>graphics. Expecting there are gamers that need that. Still don’t know how big is the core audience
