Am Canadian and I’m really happy so many people are getting to see the aurora for the first time. They’re so cool to see.

My daughter just sent me amazing pictures of the Aurora from Maine

As a kid I saw them a few times and they were always green. Now, recently, I’ve been seeing them all the time and they are always red. Anyone know why?
Me too, in NH – I’m so excited.
I’m from Florida and feel kind of bad that I get to see something so majestic while they got to see Milton :/

Glad you got to see them!
I grew up in Canada, and have seen them since I was a kid. I just thought everyone experienced this 🙂

For the first five years of my life I lived way up in northern Maine. I woke up and saw them outside my window. For years thought that I had dreamt it. My mom confirmed just a little while ago that what I’d seen was the actual lights, The memory of seeing them was exquisite even today. I am so glad you got to see them.
