I have heard of this theory years ago. Not only people are bringing this crap back, but they are doubling down on it. We are willing to accept the goofiest theory, but not Global Warming.

My favorite part is when disasters happen to people they don’t like, it’s ‘the will of God.’
When it happens to them, it must be the government because their god would never. And despite the fact their god has control over the weather, the question never gets asked why their god didn’t save them.
