If you ever ask a shelter what items they need, feminine hygiene products are at the top of the list.
They are the living embodiment, the culmination, of the patriarchy and what they have always thought about women- it just became something they couldn’t say freely in polite company thanks to the efforts of women to get equal treatment in the 60s. until recently, when pussy-grabber Trump emboldened them to really speak what’s been on their minds this whole time. Fucking asshole. A lack of period products is not just inconvenient but is likely to make people sick when they don’t have access to showers, clean clothes etc. It’s one thing to improvise when you have clean clothes and can go home and change. Quite another when you can’t. But I forgot, these types legit don’t care if women die so why am I surprised.
