Even adjusting for inflation prices were lower because fast food companies then were not the publicly traded entities they are now. After going to Wall Street investors demanded these companies show higher growth. The CEOs push for higher prices but they’ve gone too far and sales are weakening.
Also, KFC was actually good back in the day. It’s just nasty now. Salty grease bombs.
