Why would the passenger side door even be unlocked? Most cars auto lock all doors when you put them in drive, and only the drivers side unlocks when the driver gets out.

There’s been a rash of Stinger thefts lately. I don’t think they were part of the original Kia thefts because they had an engine immobilizer.

If you are that unaware of your surroundings, you almost deserve to have your car stolen. It is one thing to not notice someone crawling up into your car…..it is another thing entirely to leave your car running with the keys in the ignition.
