I landed in Dallas in afternoon and everyone phones was going off with it
So not only did they wake the whole state up, they also had everyone flying in getting blasted throughout the day like crazy lol

Not me (not I, call me young popeye)….My phone is on silent 24/7 so I didn’t see it until whatever time my alarm woke me up. Might want to look into the Do Not Disturb feature.

I’ve seen alerts for “suspect at large in xyz neighborhood, possibly armed, stay indoors and contact xyzpd with any info”, but only once or twice and it didn’t have a color code, it was just using the “lost grandpa answers to petey pls call # if found” alert protocol.Â
I didn’t know there even was a “dropped cop” color code alert protocol. Is that new? Is there also a mass shooter color code too I’m just fortunate enough to not have experienced?Â

Kind of a dirtbag thing to do, but you can go into your notifications setting on iPhone and scroll to the bottom and turn off most all of the alerts that can be pushed to your phone.
