    1. In case you’re wondering why a lot of chinese people Have Queues during the Boxer Rebellion

The Qing Dynasty’s mandate that all men adopt the traditional Queue hairstyle was a significant cultural imposition that symbolized the Manchu rulers’ authority over the Han Chinese majority. This hairstyle involved shaving the front of the head and braiding the remaining hair into a long queue at the back.

Yeah this whole thing was kind of against our (Han) will Did it really stop the west From Turning this into a stereotype

BTW: I’m Huaxia (ethnic group: Hak-kâ)

I learned about it when I was a child by watching film with Jackie Chan – Shanghai Noon where cutting queue was part of the story.

It’s weird how Japan and China at one point imposed a bald haircut on a certain class.
