For those who don’t know, Underground Atlanta was an ambitious project. Some old streets and buildings had been completely built over by new construction. Geniuses or fools decided to turn the closed-in area into a nightlife district. Hunter St and Central Ave would have been actual streets but in a kind of asphalt cave lit by old-fashioned streetlights (thus the logo.)
