Those things will remain mysteries, just like how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie roll center of a Tootsie Pop. The world will never know.

To be fair tracking down a bomber in a huge crowded event like that is notoriously difficult to do. It’s *not* impossible and people get caught all the time, especially with modern surveillance being what it is, but it can still take many years to track some of these people down. I don’t know enough about the bombs as well, but the more simple a bomb is the more difficult it can be to track the bomber down. Pretty strong chance the FBI actually does give a shit about the bombs and is taking that part very seriously. They tend to not love people who plant bombs in federal buildings regardless of the circumstances.

The rest though yeah is sketchy as fuck. Also the fact that the event was very clearly understaffed by police in such a contentious time. The fact that tear gas wasn’t utilized far earlier is also pretty nuts given how often it gets used in far less extreme situations.

    5. Because they are protected by a heavily funded and extremely psychopathic propaganda network that’s out for absolute power, and will stomp on anyone who gets in their way, that’s why.
