    1. The name “urgent care” is pretty misleading. It’s really nothing more than a walk in clinic

    2. Love how even urgent care is stepping up their marketing game! Gotta stay healthy *and* entertained, right?

What if I have both legs in splints and I am in a wheelchair, which one should I use?

Sure makes you wonder what they’d call an actual emergency room. Comedy central, maybe?

    5. Like it really matters what you go to urgent care for, they are just going to send you to the ER anyway

    6. Having recently visited the emergency room, they require signs every 10 feet and in various languages.

I spent hours in the waiting room at the ER the other day. Definitely not the place to go for something urgent.

The flu is not given the respect it deserves. Many people confuse severe colds with influenza. In one week, the flu can quickly leave you bedridden.

On the other hand, I believe that antibiotics can effectively treat the plague.

    10. That’s not funny.

They’re trying to tell patients to go to the ER and not UC if they are really really sick

Because if you go to UC and need the ER, that will be a very expensive ambulance ride (US) if that freestanding UC is not attached to a hospital.

They also need to make one for:

“My pecs hurt after lifting weights yesterday – Urgent Care”

“I have a shooting pain in my chest, moving down my left arm, I’m short of breath, and getting dizzy – ER”

Lol. Although, bubonic plague is pretty damn treatable these days. Just pray it’s not pneumonic plague.
