    1. This is both heartbreaking and happy. A great American, true Christian and an example of a life helping others we should all strive for 🥹

    2. It honestly looks like they’re pushing a corpse around…. he doesn’t look like he’s moving much at all

A good and kind dude. I have a couple of historical figures that I look up to, top of them being John Brown and Jimmy Carter.

    4. I’m sorry if this seems insensitive but is he aware of his surroundings? He seems to have his eyes closed the entire time.

It pains me to see him like this. I’m glad he made it to 100 but I don’t want him to suffer just so that he can vote in November. Why didn’t he vote early? Was it a symbolic gesture?

Thought this was a joke because I just saw a video of Jimmy greeting everyone on a plane. I guess that was an old video.

My republican dad mocked JC for being a peanut farmer and liberal. My dad was a pastor for 10 years, alcoholic stoner type “christian.” Anyways…

Happy birthday Jimmy. We’ll leave you alone now.

    7. I know his last wish was to vote in the Presidential elections before he dies. I hope he gets to do that.

    8. I sincerely hope he enjoyed that. As someone who has gone through this with a parent, it’s incredibly difficult and I really hope he enjoyed the day.

    9. The look of his mouth being open like that reminds me of my mother in law a couple days before she passed. Alzheimer’s is a bitch.

His first birthday without Rosalynn by his side since the 40s…1940s…I know he misses her dearly, they were a solid tight couple.

    11. Is early voting open in Georgia yet? Get this man a ballot, QUICK!

      Happy 100th Birthday, President Carter!

    12. I personally feel bad for seeing this a bit, as if it is a private moment I am witnessing without being intended to. But also respect that (maybe) he allows himself to be seen. Care for people in the later parts of life affects a lot of people. He is a leader.

    13. People ridiculed him during his presidency and Iran held up the hostages until Regan was sworn in. Even then he flew to meet the hostages and took the lumps. He spent the rest of his life to help the poor and humanitarian efforts. How does the US go from him to Trump? I don’t know much about his presidency but I admire the man on what he did after his presidency.

I’m happy he gets to see all this outpouring of goodwill for him. I also hope he lives long enough to see Harris defeat Trump. Much more than that seems cruel in a way
