Who knew fighting in a war to defend your country would make you a pariah

    1. After WW2 ended many female russian soldiers expecting hero’s welcome instead where rejected by their families. Many were told to leave or if allowed to stay told to hide there the fact that they had fought. This was for a few reasons. One Russia even after the communist took over was still very socially conservative and woman fighting was seen as wrong by many people. With female russian soldiers being seen as ‘’tainted’’. There was also a common belief that female russian soldiers where only at front to serve as prostitutes for officers. Because of this many women his the fact that they had fought during ww2 for several decades until the stigma faded.

    2. Sad & funny how SJW praise communist regimes when all of them after promising starts implemented reactionary social policies
