It might be a myth, but it’s said that he died from a burst bladder. He attended a fancy banquet, and didn’t want to excuse himself from the table.
If you’re ever in the area, I’d highly recommend a visit to the island of Ven, and the Tycho Brahe museum they set up in his old crib. The island is really beautiful during the summer months.
