Lying should be a political career ender for anyone regardless of party. If they can destroy Monica Lewinsky’s life over a consensual blowjob. Lying to the American people should absolutely end a politician or pundits career.
For a politician, there should be House and Senate judiciary committee hearings, 24/7 news coverage of the lie, reporters going to the families and friends of the liars and asking why they would lie?
For pundits, complete media blacklisting. You get caught lying, nobody anywhere will hire you for anything. And if you do manage to get on a news program, the reporters should just grill you on why you thought it would be okay to lie.
Make the consequences so horrible, no politician or pundit would dare try and lie.
