To me it looks like the robots (aliens) from an old 70’s tv advert for mash potato called Smash. Basically the advert was that the robots visited earth, and were explaining to other robot what people on earth did to potatoes. Grow them, boil them and then smash them to pieces with their metal knives. And then the robots fell about laughing. The slogan was “For mash get smash” I can’t remember the company, but if you punch in the slogan in google you will see.
