I absolutely love that story for so many reasons. A man getting so concerned to legitimate an oven that he makes trees walk and rivers flow backwards; the fact that no one in the sanhedrin is impressed by this and ask him to stay on topic; the fact that even god themselves gets involved in such a trivial discussion and more so the fact that all the priests just tell their own god to leave because it is man’s duty to discuss the law. And god AGREES WITH THEM AND LEAVES.
