Be interesting to know what he went through to really build the addict look.

I remember reading about Matthew McConaughey not going outside for weeks in prep for Dallas Buyers Club.

    3. People think it’s all about misery and desperation and death and all that shite, which is not to be ignored. But what they forget is the pleasure of it. Otherwise we wouldn’t do it. After all, we’re not fucking stupid. At least, we’re not that fucking stupid. Take the best orgasm you ever had, multiply it by a thousand, and you’re still nowhere near it.

    4. Ohh I remember once I started watching the movie, because I was all for indie/must see/love movies (eg. Dreamers, requiem for a dream, trainspotting), you get the gist.

I got to the scene with the abandoned baby in the crib and turned it off immediately, the birth of my little sister made me too sensitive to children’s stuff, it was so sad that I couldn’t finish because of that, because I always read how good of a movie overall it is.
