Overalls clip came off in the dryer somehow. Both loops fully intact and closed.

    1. I’ve been puzzling over this for two hours so if anybody has thoughts as to how this happened or how to fix it without breaking something, lay it on me.

    2. The strap looks like it’s got a pretty serious fold/wrinkle down the center (lengthwise). Maybe the buckle was able to slide down the strap, through the length-adjusting buckle thing, and out the “free end” of the strap? The strap being folded in half hot-dog style might have given the buckle enough freedom to do so

    3. Loosen the side with the missing piece to have the largest fabric loops you can make. Then, put the fabric loop through the metal piece. Then, feed the clothing pice through the fabric loop you created.

    4. Is there not a magic trick to remove a ring from a loop of string? Could something like that happened with the random movement of the machine
