My first and second dates with the woman who would become my wife were at the Body Worlds exhibit in Dallas, TX. It’s a really amazing show.

Do they still have the playing card people? I thought those were tacky but that was like 20 years ago.

Also went to this exhibition in Berlin. It is an amazing exhibition showing the human body in a number of poses. It was out of this world and unreal to know that the exhibits were once real people.

This exhibit came to Charlotte NC as a kid multiple times with different themes. I loved going as a kid. I remember one of the exhibit themes was body development and age progression from fetus to 100 years old. Very memorable

What is Body Worlds? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_Worlds
Wow. A human body really is a work of art
Chinese prisoners – killed for your amusement
I went to one here in Las Vegas called Bodies the exhibit. I recommend it if you have an interest in the medical field.
All preservations are from China and dubiously sourced.
If you want to learn about the human body, the “Institute of Human Anatomy” channel is a great resource.

We saw the exhibition in Basel a few years ago and its such a great exhibition, bit makabre but super interesting.
Also funny seing some people get sikh and run out lol
Most specimens are from ‘volunteers’ ‘donated’ between 1939-1944
Very cool exhibits but unfortunately the sources of the bodies can be pretty sad (chinese prisoners).
