If I dyed my hair and got a piercing, I would expect people to look at me more. But I don’t know how long it takes for a look to become a stare.

I admit I am this old person! I had a customer come through my line (I was a cashier) and they had a nose ring like a bull does.. I do have to admit I might have done a little staring. I also thought about grabbing a hold of that ring and slamming them face first into the counter just because you know I’m a human and we think of things like that even when we don’t act on that.
