It was hilarious! I’m 43 years old and this is the first time I actually gave a shit about anything that happened in the olympics.

As a 52year old. I agree for the first time, us boomers cared about anything in Olympics.

IMHO breaking should have rejected the Olympics from the get go…so should skating for that matter. Olympics doing their best “How Do You Do, Fellow Kids” desperately trying to stay relevant.

Who the fuck let her advance through Olympic qualifiers?

She got lost in the sauce guys, as a break coach, you show your students all the cool moves and you have to throw out wacky stuff to keep them guessing. She did this on an olympic stage. Shes the truest champ. (Am break coach)

It hasn’t helped that NBC removed all of the Olympic Breaking videos, including the two gold medal matches, from their YouTube and other social media accounts (men’s bronze was there yesterday, haven’t checked today). I have been linking the gold medal videos to people who had only seen the memes so they could watch the good shit. Now those videos are inaccessible.

Don’t worry. It’ll soon go the way of olympic ballroom dancing.

Anyone taking “breaking” seriously need to seriously take a step back a rethink their lives. Clearly all the popularity of “so you think you can dance?” played a part in making it a thing, but does anyone even watch that anymore? I get its a physical activity, but not every physical activity needs to be an Olympic sport…

Breakdancing is tight, but it shouldn’t be an Olympic event.

it had a bad reputation the moment people heard that the stupidity was going to be added as a “game”. Totally ridiculous.

Lets be honest: it didn’t take an expert in break dance moves to see that a) what moves she chose were bad and b) the execution of those moves were bad.
Raygun is already using this viral moment to stay famous no doubt. Which is the worst.

It’s a shame, I watched a bit of the Olympic breakdancing and saw some pretty good stuff, but raygun has assured that we’ll never see it again.

If there was a worse representation on Break dancing. This would be one of them.

We could’ve had Breakdancing as an official if that girl never showed up.
