How can a government send people to represent the country at the Olympic Games, not provide the necessary tools, and then expect everyone to help them?

I’ve spent enough time in Germany to see that Germans are genuinely nice. While Japanese politeness often stems from cultural norms, Germans’ kindness is more consistent and comes from a deeper, internal understanding. They can be direct and want you to learn their language, but they try to help by seeing things from your perspective

This is why whenever a third world country wins a medal in the Olympics, it means so much to us because we know the lack of support and funding our government provides.
