Spanish player probably would’ve won but she blew out her knee. She tried wrapping it up and going back out but after 2 rallys, knew it wasn’t going to happen. Mad respect

For all the people bashing the Olympics and the athletes this year I’ve seen some of the actual competitors being just the absolute best type of people.
At a time where the world feels so divided this is just beautiful.

Did the term “shuttler” for a badminton player just appear out of nowhere for the Olympics? I’ve never heard the term before, and a quick Google search doesn’t show it in the ‘badminton terms’ websites I glanced at.
