It’s been the curse of liberals for decades now. The public demands they constantly prove their worth over and over. They have to govern for all and solve the issues plaguing us perfectly or they’re gone. Sometimes gone once they’re done anyway.
Campaigning must inspire, excite and motivate every group to extreme satisfaction or the population won’t vote.
We demand everything from them we can’t get from their opposition all while actively being sabotaged by the opposition and individuals voting against their own interests.
Meanwhile, conservatives just cut taxes and ruin our institutions, economy and societal norms then disappear for a little and we give them the keys and whine when they do it again.
We are in a vicious cycle.
