      The preacher’s daughter in the town (deep hills Kentucky) where I was born was the very definition of Girl Busting Out. She and the sheriff’s son were a thing too and he had access to the confiscation room. She was best friends with my cousin so when I came to stay with my grandparents for each summer it was epic GenX kids making trouble. I had some spending money, he had the party goods, and the two girls were far more adventurous than us two guys.
