A new species of rove beetle has been discovered that grows a termite-like mass on its back to trick other termites into feeding it.

It boggles my mind how this insect came to be 😱..I mean, I know evolution takes into consideration the environment so that future generations can survive better like being able to grab better due to more developed appendages or whatnot. But how did this happen? Did it realize that tricking termites is the best way to survive?👀
