I’m not sure what the facepalm is but I’ve watched the video and she nearly killed him. At the very least she could have taken his eye out. As I understand it she was also 6’6″ tall and continued trying to stab him despite warnings to get back. I’m with the cop on this one.
There’s no racism at all here, he defended himself against a life threatening attack. People with mental health problems don’t get a free pass when they’re attacking police with a knife.

I saw the video and it’s tragic. But she was actively trying to kill him with a knife. She opened his head up pretty good in the process.
I am confident the police officer didn’t want that terrible end result, but his life was definitely in jeopardy.

The cop was doing by protocol. Then out of nowhere she came out and slashed him with a knife. He backed off and warned her not to come closer, she charge as him and still tried to slash him many time.
The cop only opened fire after being literally backed in a corner, and she was right at knife range.

– With the above being said there are plenty of countries like in England where such people exist and similar encounters occur and they way Police in those countries continue to deal with it better VS America where the instant reactions are far too often to use a gun.

One thing that always bugs me about these stories is when people just decide it’s racist. Even the cop was in the wrong and he didn’t need to shoot her, the fact that they’re of different races doesn’t make it a racist attack. Cops who are overly trigger happy shoot white people too.
