Kamala willing faced a rough interview on an adversarial station.
No beginning with friendly chit chat – just
!WHAM! right into tough accusatory question after another.
She handled it with thoughtful answers.
And even when you could tell she was getting a little mad, Kamala still refused to take the bait to demean the American people – whichever political side they are on.

I don’t think she ‘wiped the floor’ with Baier. She did however hold her own and went 30 minutes without resorting to insults – unlike someone else who can’t go 30 seconds.
There was no killer blow from either of them. It won’t change any opinions but will enable the Dems to ramp up the Trump is scared attack ads more.

In lieu of not getting a second debate, this interview was like Trump pissing on the carpet, but Brett Baier getting his face rubbed in it.

Tje president represents all Americans not just the ones who voted for them. A willingness to go into the spaces claimed by the other side and speak to them directly knowing conditions will be hostile shows an understanding of the job, strength and courage to do what’s right even if it’s hard.
Trump won’t debate again, he won’t do 60 minutes, he canceled on MSNBC, he won’t do late night shows. He’s in his safe space with a security blanket and surrounded by people who tell him over and over what a big strong boy he is. He’s not. His unwillingness to face adversarial conditions and challenges head on makes him a weak little coward, not a president.
