Honestly if you can vote early do it, get it out of the way. If you want trump to go away for ever, vote now to defeat him!

    2. In many states, independents outnumber registered republicans and democrats. I wonder what the volume of independent votes is in these states, and what kind of wildcard that represents? I know they also break down the early voting data by men/women. It would be interesting to see that stats on that, as well.

Already did. In Georgia. And I can tell you, the crowds were massive. They did not look like a bunch of Trump voters. Let’s go!!!!

Don’t get complacent. Democrats have a tendency to vote early and republicans have a tendency not to vote until Election Day. I would always expect democrats to have an early lead.

      Thanks to everyone who voted.

And for everyone else: let’s go! The results need to be too big for the fascists to steal.

Get your “both-sides-are-the-same” friends or friends who just don’t normally vote to get in the game this time. Their immediate futures depend on it.

I’m scared for my fellow human beings and our kids if this shit stain gets in office again.

It happened last election too where dems outvoted republicans early. Then Trump and Co. went on and on about stopping the count. Be vigilant. Don’t forget to vote.

      Get in there Georgia

Early voting in Georgia started YESTERDAY . Get your vote in with less wait times, more convenience and less chances at suppression or running out of time

Google voting time map for your county and it will display estimated waiting times

Ok wait sorry but explain it to me like I’m 5 lol, are people’s votes public record as soon as they vote? Don’t we only find out after the election? Like how do we know we had a certain number of Dem or Rep votes already? Or am I misremembering how this works.

Remember, studies have shown that Early voters tend to lean democrat, and these good results do not guarantee victory.
Keep up the momentum and vote!

It is nice but it can cause complacency and then a sense of dread on Election Day when we start seeing huge chunks of Trump votes that waited.

    12. As dumb as it is that people are still voting R, its nice to see both sides taking advantage of early voting. It still boggles my mind that things as critical as “Who is the president of the United States of America” can be decided by something as random as “Was there a large storm in a swing state” which caused people in a certain area to not want to go outside. 12,000 votes in Georgia would have made an insane difference on the last 4 years. Thats like, 5% of the population of Atlanta alone, and a very feasible percentage of people to decide “Fuck that, I’m not standing in the rain for one vote”

The negative is that some folks voting Dem may get confident of victory with these numbers and not vote as they feel their contribution unnecessary.

      VOTE!

      How do they know this?

Michigan doesn’t have party affiliation when you register. The votes can be processed but not tallied before election day.

So, if everyone is returning the same ballot and they can’t know which party you identify with and the votes aren’t tallied, how do they get these numbers?

Is it wrong that I’m hoping tropical storm(y) Daniels blankets the country on November 5th keeping MAGA home or at least miserable.

Don’t stop. Keep your feet on the gas all the way to the end. We can’t give an inch!

    17. PerspectiveLow872 on

      We need GA numbers!
We doubled our early voting attendance so in 2020 it was 136,000 and this year yesterday was our first day for early voting. It was around 250,000 votes – I’m praying it’s 💙

    18. I’d say vote blue like your lives depend on it, but I’m British, so I know damn well that there’s way more on the line than just American lives. NATO’s screwed if he gets back into power, so for the love of all that is holy, please don’t let this happen.

    19. Early voting starts for my state on the 18th. I will be there that morning. Let’s go blue wave!

    20. Don’t get excited or complacent. Dems are more likely to vote early and by mail, Republicans are more likely to vote in person on election day. Don’t make the mistake of assuming these are viable trends, but keep up the momentum.

Also, understand this isn’t a traditional peaceful transfer of power election. You have to get past crooked election officials, lawsuits and other legal shenanigans and if none of that makes their coup successful, J6 2.0.

    21. Keep voting as if a red wave is on the horizon and your vote is the ONLY VOTE that will stop the red wave.

    22. This is all great and all, but early voters are overwhelmingly democrats. Everyone still needs to make sure to go to the polls and vote. Don’t think your vote isn’t needed. It 100% is.

    23. Still not comfortable with that lead! It’s scary the amount of people are voting for facism

    24. I don’t want to be a debbie downer, but this actually makes me nervous. The GOP has had success in getting early votes thrown out on technicalities. It’s a lot easier to challenge a mail in ballot than it is one placed at the polls.

That being said, the extra engagement from Dems in general is heartening. I hope it continues! Get out there and vote!

    25. Swole_therapist479 on

I don’t like this because republicans usually wait to vote on the day. If folks that normally don’t vote see this, they might think they don’t need to vote and that’s not the case!
