I keep saying I’ll take a break from all this, because as a person who isn’t in the US, I can’t actually DO anything to make it better. I’m not able to help anyone or vote. So I’m just stewing and panicking over here and it’s not gunna go away til the day of the results. I need to not keep feeding myself this shit, it just makes me angry.
But on the flip side I feel like I should be absorbing all of it because they’re only going to pretend none of it happened.
The reality is I’m still gunna sit here and panic. I’m scared for everyone over there and it’s dragging me into a sad dark pit. I am putting all my hopes into Harris and Walz. America sorely needs repairing and I think they’re the ones who can do it. I’m just scared of the repercussions of it all. Jesus Christ I wish we weren’t living in such “exciting” times. I’d like a boring age where nothing of note happens, that would be nice.
