Those ticket prices…. and I remember being really pissed off about the $2 service fees.

I have a lot of old tickets too! In fact I have a binder full of various tickets and stubs from the past 30 years, from high school plays to ice capades, to music concerts, to amusement parks, to sporting events, and even a couple of hundred old movie ticket stubs. I love looking through them from time to time, and I’m adding more to it all the time!

Would have LOVED to see Foo Fighters at Saltair. Now it’s just EDM shows.
Complex and Depot are great though.

Sadly you saw all these concerns for what was the price of an OVER-priced Taylor Swift ticket – and I don’t mean resold ones either…

No doubt opening for bush was my first concert in 1994ish. Great time!!!! That’s an awesome collection

The ticket prices today are unbelievable. It is regrettable that in many places access to art and culture will be so inaccessible

I was at those Pearl Jam shows. Standing in the downpour at Wolf Mountain, and the make-up date at the Delta Center. I had third row floor tickets at the DC and my mom threw them out by mistake. She bought me some new ones from a scalper which were not as good. 🙁

RATM, Counting Crows, Tori Amos and Fiona Apple in a one year span…. you were definitely a kid.

Sometimes I think I’d be a totally different person if these types of experiences were available at these prices growing up.
Instead I never went to a concert till college, and even then I had to save up and don’t know if I felt like I got my moneys worth. I’ve always loved music, but have this ingrained perception of live music being just for people without financial responsibilities

I’d have loved to seen Sponge. Rotting Pinata is one of those albums I can play without skipping a song.

I have twice had tickets to see Rage Against the Machine and twice the concert was cancelled. Once in the 90’s and once in 2020.
