    1. I don’t know if I’m more impressed by the engineering that went into making cars this level of crash safe, or amazed at the fact that he not only gets out of the car but appears to be unscathed.

    2. TallahasseWaffleHous on

This is a great example of the benefits of good government-mandated regulation of the automotive and highway industries.

    3. I think what saved him wasn’t really the seat belt or the airbags but the height of the trailer of the truck. If it’s a few inches lower, then he would’ve met a different outcome.

    4. The company behind this vehicle should use this in one of their ads because holy shit that’s impressive.

    5. Similar happened to a friend of mine in college. Small Honda Civic. A truck like that changed lanes into her, dragged her car hundreds of feet, finally the car got flung out from under the truck, thrown against a divider and spun a few times. The truck kept going as if nothing happened. Literally every inch of her car was compacted except the drivers area. She didn’t have a scratch.

    6. Is it just me or does that car look like a Nissan Almera/Versa? It’s pretty banged up but I recognize the chassis & rims.
