Who am I to say no to the Ten Commandments?

      For the benefit of context:

The Wicked Bible, sometimes called the Adulterous Bible or the Sinners’ Bible, is an edition of the Bible published in 1631 by Robert Barker and Martin Lucas, the royal printers in London, meant to be a reprint of the King James Bible. The name is derived from a mistake made by the compositors: in the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:14, the word “not” was omitted from the sentence, “Thou shalt not commit adultery, thus resulting in the sentence being written as” Thou shalt commit adultery”.

    2. There’s also something called “The Fools Bible”. Due to a misprint, Psalm 14:1 reads “the fool hath said in his heart there is a God”, rather than “there is no God”.

Needless to say, the clergy weren’t happy about it.

More humorously, there’s the Printers Bible. In some copies, Psalm 119:161 reads, “Printers have persecuted me without a cause”, rather than “*Princes* have persecuted me…

More biblical errors that are often awkward below.
