Context:
The Greco-Italian War (1940-1941) was a conflict during World War II, initiated when Italy, led by Mussolini, invaded Greece (starting from Albania) in October 1940. The Greek forces mounted a strong resistance, pushing back the Italian army into Albania.

Ultimately Germany had to step in after Italy had completely failed to take over Greece.
