The ending to the original FMA anime was a bit bizarre but I liked it, it was kinda tragic.
The one for the original Hellsing anime I kinda prefer to the manga ending actually. It feels a lot darker in tone which I think suits the story.

Soul Eater in the manga: Everyone becomes weirdly obsessed with titties (the symbol of maternal love, supossibly).

didn’t Pierrot do tokyo ghoul? plus I’m pretty sure the anime ended the same way the manga did, I read it and the anime was still coming out with the manga finishing before it
