    1. I’ve never really thought about it but would uncooked pasta have the same risk associated as eating uncooked flour?

A tropical resort I stayed at used those as well. They worked so much better than paper but I did notice that I was drinking my drinks faster because they do get limp after a while.

    3. When I was a kid, I used to use Twizzlers as a straw. Pretty f’ing gross, thinking back on it. Cola and strawberry licorice. Yuck.

    4. I’ve never drank a hot beverage though a straw 🤔 is this common in your country?

this is the future especially if they do like flavors and stuff, this would be like an actually functional version of those gummy straws 7/11 used to have

    7. *The Soggy Pasta Straws* is the name of my band. (We’re a banjo trio).

      Surprisingly, we suck.

    8. Plastic straws are actually not much of a littering hazard except in the countries that dgaf about that kind of thing anyway. 1st world countries do a good job of getting our trash into landfills.

    9. Finally! I was rooting for pasta straws since the inception of paper straws. It is so validating to see I’m not the only one who considered this a viable option.

    10. There used to be a chain restaurant near me called Italian Oven that used pasta straws. I haven’t seen one of those places or one of those straws since the mid 90s.

    11. Well that makes more sense, they just put whipped cream on my head and then hurried me through this gate.

I once got a preroll (joint) (marijuana cigarette) that was rolled with a piece of spiral pasta for the tip instead of a paper tube. Worked like a charm and tasted great afterwards!
