    1. VW Dune Buggy kits were not unusual to see in the 70s. By the time the 80s came around, not as common to see. By ’87 this would have been considered retro. (IMO)

    2. The days where you could order a car by mail.  Not many if these survived as you would expect not made to last and used fiberglass panels.

    3. did they solve mysteries or sell cocaine? with a dune buggy, it’s gotta be one or the other, i don’t make the rules
